If you are considering a new co-curricular group for next year (or are piloting a program and would like it to be considered for a stipend) please fill out the co-curricular proposal form found at this link, and submit it to your building rep or to me no later than Monday, Jan 30.
I know some of you have sent me information about clubs as recently as last fall, but please take a moment to submit this form as well. We’re trying to standardize our submissions and this will help us keep everyone’s ideas straight. Each year, per our WDEA contract, the association submits proposals to the district on Feb 1st for approval. If the clubs are accepted by the district, we then negotiate the stipend rate based on the frequency and number of meetings, number of students impacted, etc..
