About the WDEA
The Westhill District Education Assoc., AFT local 3115, is the professional organization of teachers, physical and occupational therapists, school registered nurses, athletic trainers, and regular long-term substitutes in the Westhill Central School District, Syracuse, NY. The 178 member union is recognized as the sole and exclusive representative of all certified employees in the instructional negotiations unit on matters of salaries, wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment pursuant to the provisions of the Public Employee’s Fair Employment Act of the State of New York.
The WDEA is affiliated with NYSUT, AFT, and NEA. NYSUT represents 619,000 teaching and health-care professionals in New York State.
